what is the different between auto trophic and hetotrophic ​


ankita150730: autotrophic... they synthesis their own food from inorganic substrates... May be photosynthetic or chemosynthetic.... and heterotropic... they don't synthesis their own food and depend on other organism or on dead organic matter for food..... thank u ☺

In autotrophic nutrition organism prepares its food from simple substances present in the surroundings . In heterotrophic nutrition organism obtains food from digesting organic compounds . ... Heterotrophs are the consumers in the food chain .
