What is the different between game and sport?

Although people may think that 'Game' and 'Sport' is one of the same thing, but they are quite different. Sport is something in which physical strength is required in huge amounts whereas a 'Game' requires both physical and metal strength. E.g. : Game- Chess
                         Sport- Hockey, Cricket, etc.
Also Sport is known worldwide and competitions are held whereas a game may be self-designed fun activity that has not been recognized by the Sports Authority of that country.
