Moderates are much more accomodating than the extremists. the pointsof difference are as follows.

Explanation:

1. Extremists have been bred in such a way that they actually believe they are working for a cause and they see their view of the world as the only possible solution. Midrates mostly (not all) do not care about the world view of other people.

2. Extremists never try to find logical reasoning and most of their decisions and acts are performed allegedly with divine intervention. Midrates normally try to find a cause through logic and common sense.

3.. Extremists are so focussed and committed to their belief that raising a question might even be considered heresy. Midrates would use their own mind and common sense and decide based on their own understanding.
