bilateral symmetry it is a property  that is when an object is been cut into half, one side will be equal to the other half too. both sides will be same.that is bilateral symmetry in short.
we human beings are also bilaterally symmetrical only for the best example.

when you take the cases of starfishes and all, they are radially symmetrical.they can be cut in any direction or plane but will be equal only or ll sides will be same in everything.
