ANIMAL CELL
- In animal cell the outermost layer is cell membrane
- Nucleus in animal cell is generally present at center.
- Cytoplasm is denser than plant cell's cytoplasm.
- Vacuoles are absent in animal cell.
- Plastids are also absent in animal cell.
- Centrosome is present with either one or two centrioles.
- Golgi apparatus is present.
- In animal cell food is stored in form of glycogen.
PLANT CELL
- In plant cell the outermost layer is cell wall.
- Nucleus is slightly peripheral in plant cell which means it is not present at center.
- Cytoplasm is less denser compared to animal cell.
- Large vacuole is present in plant cell.
- Plastids are also present in plant cell.
- Centrosome is absent in plant cell.
- Dictyosome is present instead of Golgi apparatus.
- In plant cell food is stored in form of starch.
