HELLO THERE!
Seminal vesicles and Prostate glands both are a part of the Male Reproductive system.
What is the difference between them?
Seminal vesicle: It is located below the urinary bladder round the upper part of the urethra. Its secretion contains Prostaglandin, an enzyme which activates the sperms. The secretion of Seminal Vesicle is called as Seminal fluid and this constitutes 60% of the semen. The seminal vesicles also act as a transporting medium of the sperms.
Prostate gland: It is located below the seminal vesicle round the urethra (at the back). Its secretions serve to neutralize the acid in female's vagina. Its secretions constitute 30% of the semen.
THANKS!
