The bhangar soil is found at the higher reaches above 30m from flood level. Bangar :
(1) the older alluvium of the plain is called bangar..
(2) with continuous deposit of alluvium , a terrace like feature is formed .. ... khadar:
(3) the newer younger deposit of the fluid plains are called khadar.
Bhangar soils are less fertile as they are above flood level whereas Khadar soils are more fertile as they are below flood level. Bhanger is full of kankers(lime module) and khadar soil is composed of fine silt & clay.
