Hello friend!!!!

The digestive system in humans is the system that helps in the digestion of food. The process of digestion starts from the mouth and ends at the rectum.
The first process that takes place is ingestion where we chew the food. Then the food travels down via our food pipe or oesophagus and lands in the stomach. Here the process of digestion starts when the digestive juices from the pancreas and the livers come and break down the food into small pieces. The food then goes to the small intestine where the nutrients from the food are absorbed and go into the blood. This process is called absorption and assimilation. Then it goes to the large intestine where some salts and water are absorbed . The remaining waste passes into the rectum and remains there as semi-solid faeces. The far cal matter is removed through the anus from time to time. This is called egestion.

Hope it helps you!!!
