Answer:
The poet’s dilemma was which road to take, the road most travelled on or the road less travelled. Frost says in the poem that he had taken the road which was grassy, i.e. less travelled, he compares it with life by describing that people most of their lives have numerous choices, and it is for them to make the best choice. Sometimes the choice that was made might be a success or a failure. It is not possible to choose two things, like it was not possible for the poet to travel on both the roads. He left the other road for a later time in the future.
He resolves this dilemma by taking the road which was less travelled. Towards the end of the poem Frost says that I took the road which was less travelled, and perhaps ages from now he will be saying with a sigh, this choice has made all the difference in his life.
