but volt = joule/coulomb
so
$\frac{{coulomb}^{2} }{joule}$
current = charge x discharge

i.e I= C x. t
. c=I/t


dimension for joule is  L²MT⁻²


C^2=I^2 x t^2


so dimesions for farad is M-1L-2T4I2
