Basically , Power r= Work / time and work = force * distance and force = mass * acceleration due to gravity and acceleration due to gravity = velocity / time and velocity = displacement / time and velocity = L / T so acceleration due to gravity = L / T ^ 2 so force = M L / T ^ 2 then work = M L ^ 2 / T ^ 2 hence power = M L ^ 2 / T ^ 3.Ok! power is therefore M L ^ 2 / T ^ 3.
