the formula of density is mass/volume
so the unit of density is
as we know,unit of mass=kg
unit of volume=m^3

so the unit of density is=kg/m^3

HERE'S THE ANSWER..

_____________________________

♠️Let me introduce some common notation in dimensions

⏺️Mass = [ M ]

⏺️ Length = [ L ]

⏺️ Time = [ T ]

♠️We know

✔️ \boxed{Density \:= \: Mass \: / \: Volume}

⏺️ Mass = [ M ]

⏺️ Volume = [ L ] [ L ] [ L ] = [ L^3 ]

✔️ Density = Mass / Vol.

=> Density = [ M ] / [ L^3 ]

=> \boxed{Density \:= \: [ M ]\: [ L^{-3}] }
