See, if you don't know the dimension of the constant, no matter, you can apply this trick for every constant.
Take the formula, and now keep the constant at one side and put all other elements like masses , distance, etc. on the other side. Now you got the formula for the constant, now put the dimensional formula of each element and solve the powers of M,L and T. You will get your dimension formula for the constant.
For Gravitational Constant,
G = Fr^2/m1m2
