Resistance = l/A
so, resistivity () = RA/L
Resistance (R) = V/I
V = Work done /charge
So, Resistance = Work done/charge /Current
= [ML²T-²]/[TA]/[A]
= [ML²T-³A-²]
Resistivity = Resistance × Area of cross section /Length
= [ML²T-³A-²][L²]/[L]
=[ML³T-³A-²]
