what is the direction of an object moving with on acceleration due to gravity?

It depends upon the initial kinemetical conditions of the object. If its moving upward, the motion is uniformly decelerated but direction is upward. At top most point, object has no direction of motion as it is at rest, while moving downwards, its direction is towards centre of earth
