What is the direction of the Westerlies in the southern hemisphere?

When the air moves in the definite direction, it is probably called as wind.


If the winds move from west to east, it is called as westerlies.


In case, the wind moves from east to west, which called as easterlies.


These winds are indicated by measuring the difference in pressures.


Coriolis Effect has also affected the wind direction.


According to Coriolis effect, the wind deflects towards the right i.e. clockwise in Northern hemisphere and wind deflects towards left i.e. anti-clockwise in the Southern hemisphere.
