Rhizobium is a special type of bacteria which provides the leguminous plant , NITROGEN which is a very essential non - metal for plants to grow !!
Therefore , the absence of Rhizobium bacteria will lead not only in the poor growth of plants but also their fruit may be deficient in some or the other nutrient !!! which is a big disadvantage for the peasants as well as us .
However , nowadays it is seen that farmers are mostly using the alternate of Rhizobium bacteria which is fertilizers but they are polluting the environment ...................
