average velocity = displacement ÷ time

15 = x ÷ 30

x = 15 × 30

x = 450

so displacement is 450 m

\bigstar Given

Velocity = 15 m/s

Time = 30 s

\bigstar To Find

Displacement

\bigstar Solution

We know that

\red{\sf \longrightarrow d=v \times t}

Here

  • d = displacement
  • v = velocity
  • t = time

Units

  • d = metre (m)
  • v = metres per second (m/s)
  • t = seconds (s)

According to the question

We are asked to find displacement

Therefore

We must find "d"

Given that

Velocity = 15 m/s

Time = 30 s

Hence

  • v = 15 m/s
  • t = 30 s

Substituting the values

We get

\orange{\sf \longrightarrow d=15 \times 30 \ m}

Therefore

\pink{\sf \longrightarrow d=450 \ m}

Hence

\checkmark Displacement = 450 m
