what is the displacement of the body if it returns to same point where it is started? give one example in daily life?

Displacement is the distance covered between two points. In above case there will be no displacement. The distance covered by the body is zero if it comes back to the same point from where it started.For example the displacement of a person will zero if he go to a shop from home and come back to home again.
