Given

 \sf \to \: A(2,1) \:  \: and \:  \: B(8,9)

To Find

➝Distance between two points

Formula

 \sf \to \: AB =  \sqrt{(x_{2} - x_1) {}^{2}   + (y_2 - y_1)^{2} }

We Have

 \sf \to \: A(x_1 = 2,y_1 = 1) \:  \: and \:  \: B(x_2 = 8,y_2 = 9)

Now Put the Value on Formula

\sf \to \: AB =  \sqrt{(8 -2) {}^{2}   + (9 - 1)^{2} }

\sf \to \: AB =  \sqrt{(6) {}^{2}   + (8)^{2} }

\sf \to \: AB =  \sqrt{36  + 64 }

\sf \to \: AB =  \sqrt{100 }

\sf \to \: AB =   \pm10

➝We have two Answer +10 units and - 10 units

➝So we take +10 units because distance is never Negative

Answer

➝Distance between AB = 10units
