what is the distance between origin and (3,4)?

the distance any two points is square root of (x2- x1)^2 +( y2-y1)2

=square root of (3-0)^2+(4-0)^2
= square root of 3^2+4^2
= square root of 9+16
=square root of 25
=5

the distance between origin and (3,4) is 5
