What is the distance of point (-3,4) from the origin? ​

here, in the graph point A is (-3,4)

So, when looking at the graph we can conclude that h is the distance of point A(-3,4), b is 3 and p is 4

Also,

 {p}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  =  {h}^{2}

=>  {(4)}^{2}   +  {(3)}^{2}  =  {h}^{2}

=> 16 + 9 =  {h}^{2}

=> 25 =  {h}^{2}

=>  \sqrt{25}   = h

=> h = 5

therefore, h = 5 that is the distance of A(-3,4) from origin.
