▶Dear User!▶

↪ Question: what is the distance of point (-3,4) from the origin ?

▶ Method of Solution: ▶

Distance Of Point = (-3,4)

Note: Point of origins denotes (0,0).

Now, We know that FORMULA,"Distance Formula".↩

Distance Formula = √(x1-x2)² + (y1-y2)²

Here, x1 = -3, y1 = 0 or x2 = 0 , y2= 4

Substitute the obtained value in Distance Formula!

↪√(x1-x2)² + (y1-y2)²

↪ √(-3-0)² + (0-4)²

↪ √(-3)² + (4)²

↪ √9+16

↪ √25

↪ 5

↪↪↪↪Hence , 5 unit is the distance of point (-3,4) from the origin. ↩↩↩↩↩↩
