The distance of the point from the x-axis is 2.

  • To find the distance of the point from the x-axis is always the modulus of x- coordinate of the point.
  • The distance of the point from the y-axis is the modulus of y-coordinate of the point.
  • And to find the distance of the point from the origin is modulus of the \sqrt{x^2+y^2} , where  x and y are the coordinates of the point.
