Given

  • Radius of the circle = 7 m
  • Initial point = A = Final Point

To Find

  • Distance and the displacement

Solution

Distance : Length of the total path covered by a body

Displacement. : The shortest path between the initial and the final point

Displacement of the body

  • Here it's given that the initial and tye final points are the same which means the shortest distance between these two points would simply be 0 as we need not travel any distance here

→ Displacement = 0 m

Distance Covered by the Body

→ Distance = Circumference

→ Distance = 2πr

→ Distance = 2 × 22/7 × 7

→ Distance = 2 × 22

→ Distance = 44 m

Given:-

\bigstar\\A person starting from A and Ends at A

\bigstar\\Circular path of radius is 7 m

To Prove:-

\bigstar\\What is the distance travelled and displacement when a person standing from A and ends at A?...

Solution:-

\bigstar\\To Find Distance:-

The Distance covered is in the shape of circle.

So,

 \leadsto{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \bold{Distance \:  =  \:Circumference}}}}

  \\ \leadsto{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \bold{Distance \:  =  \:2\pi \: r}}}}

  \\ \leadsto{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \bold{Distance \:  =  \:2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7}}}}

  \\ \leadsto{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \bold{Distance \:  =  \:2 \times 22 = 44 \: m}}}}

\bigstar\\To Find Displacement:-

First we should know about displacement

Displacement:-

Displacement is the shortest distance between the final position and initial position if the body

\bigstar\\According to question,

A person is starting from A and ends at A .So, The Displacement is 0.

  \\ \leadsto{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \bold{Displacement\:  = 0}}}}
