What is the distance travelled by sound in air when a tuning fork of frequency 256Hz. Completes 25 vibrations? The speed of sound in air is 343 m/s.

d=v * T

d= 343 * 1/256

d= 343 * 25/ 256........(for 25 vibrations)

d=33.49

Wave Speed=frequency×wavelenght

So wavelenght=343/256

Distance travelled= wavelenght×25

=33.4m
