The difference between the of the digits in the odd place and even places must be 0 or a multiple of 11.

e.g. 7917624 = 343

Sum of odd places : 7+1+6+4 = 18.
Sum of even places : 9+7+2= 18
18-18= 0
So 7917624 is divisible by 11
