Answer:

In 1124, the last two digits at tens place and ones place form a number 24 which is divisible by 4 (24 ÷ 4 = 6)

Thus, 1124 is divisible by 4. 1124 ÷ 4 = 281

As per the data given in the question,

We have to determine the divisibility rule of 4.

As we know that,

4 is smallest composite number.

Any number will be divisible by 4 only and only when the last two digits i.e. unit and tens digits are completely divisible by 4.

Eg. let there is any number 214104

Here, last two digits are 0 and 4.

So, we can write last digit as 04.

As we can see that 04 is completely divisible by 4, So, the above number will also be divisible by 4.

Hence, we can say that,

If the last two digits are divisible by 4 then the overall number will be divisible by 4.
