Answer:

In Garden Pea, yellow colour of cotyledons is dominant over green and round shape of seed is dominant over wrinkled. When a plant with yellow and round seeds is crossed with a plant having yellow and wrinkled seeds, the progeny showed segregation for all the four characters

Explanation:

In the case of Mendelian cross which was carried on in pea plants (Pisum sativum), he chose seven characters for detailed study. Out of the seven characters chosen, colour of the pod and shape of the seed were there.

He explained that there are two possibilities for the existence of 'traits' (which was later renamed as 'genes') in two forms: homozygous and heterozygous. Homozygous form of gene will contain both dominant or both recessive forms. Whereas the heterozygous ones will contain one dominant and one recessive combinations.

Dominant character is the character which can express in both homozygous and heterozygous conditions, as it dominates over the recessive gene. It is represented by capital letter.

Recessive character can express only in homozygous condition, because all other times dominant gene will produce the effect.

In the given question, green coloured is dominant trait over the yellow coloured ones; round seeds are dominant over the wrinkled ones. All the other options are recessive ones or are not belonging to the seven traits which Mendel chose to study.
