number of electrons per kg of silver = Avogadro's number/atomic mass in kg

= 6.023 × 10²³/108 × 10^-3

= 6.023 × 10²³/0.108

= 5.57 × 10²³

now, number of electrons per volume , n = number of electrons per kg × density of silver

= 5.57 × 10²³ /Kg × 10.2 × 10³ kg/m³

= 56.8 × 10^26 /m³

charge on electron, e = 1.6 × 10^-19C

cross sectional area of wire, A = 3.14 × 10^-6 m²

current through wire, i = 10A

using formula,

i=neAv_d

or, v_d=\frac{i}{neA}

= 10/(56.8 × 10^26 × 1.9 × 10^-19 × 3.14 × 10^-6 )

= 10/(568 × 1.9 × 3.14)

= 0.00295 m/s

= 2.95 × 10^-3 m/s
