As of 22 December 2021, India has reported 213 Omicron Cases. As of 21 December 2021, India has reported 200 cases of Omicron (Coronavirus). Of 200 cases, 123 cases are active, and the remaining 77 have been discharged or recovered

More data are needed to know if Omicron infections, and especially reinfections and breakthrough infections in people who are fully vaccinated, cause more severe illness or death than infection with other variants.
