What is the effect of change in pressure for boiling point of any liquid

Pressure is directly proportional to the boiling point.

At higher altitudes where the atmospheric pressure is low the boiling point of liquid will also be low and vice versa for higher atmospheric pressure...

The effect of change in pressure on the boiling point of a substance is as follows.

1)Since boiling point is defined as the point at which the vapour pressure of a liquid exceeds atmospheric pressure.

2)Therefore boiling point of a liquid is directly proportional to the pressure.

3)when the pressure increases than the boiling point also increases because the vapour requires more energy to overcome the above pressure.

4)similarly boiling point decreases as the pressure decreases.

5)Due to pressure changes boiling point of water is more at sea level than the boiling point of water on high altitudes.

6)For the same reason liquids boil at room temperature in a vacuum.
