HERE YOU GO,
SHORT AND PRECISE
Exhaled air is CO2(Carbon Dioxide)
Lime Water is Ca(OH)2 (Calcium Hydroxide)
Therefore, when Calcium Hydroxide combines with Carbon Dioxide it leaves a milky white precipitate. This precipitate is called CaCO3.
This can be showed in the form of an equation.
Ca(OH)2 + CO2 ➜ CaCO3 + H2
