adrenaline is a hormone hence it is a neurotransmitter .adrenaline is produced by the adrenaline glands this hormone is also known as the  epinephrine

the effects of this hormone can be noticed when one is angry or upset ,some of the notable actions  of the adrenaline hormone is the increase in heartbeat ,it is also responsible for the increase in blood pressure .

at this moment one is always ready to fight or to take off hence adrenaline serves to distribute blood to the muscles
