ANSWER

=> Due to hydrogen bond compounds becomes liquid.

For eg-H2O

=> Due to hydrogen bonding ease of liquification increases.

Eg- NH3 is more easily liquificable than PH3.

=> Due to hydrogen bond organic compounds such as alcohol and ethanoic acid dissolve in water. But other organic compound are insoluble in water.

=> Due to hydrogen bond ice floats on water.

Hey mate !!

  • High electronegativity of the atom bonded to hydrogen atom so that bond is sufficiently polar.
  • The small size of the atom bonded to hydrogen so that it is able to attract the bonding electron pair effectively.
