Do you mean applying pressure on substance at it's boiling point??
Then the temperature needed for boiling of substance increases

the boiling point of a liquid is related to the pressure of the atmosphere. Higher the pressure , higher is the boiling point , and vice - versa .As the altitude increases the atmospheric pressure decreases , hence the boiling point of liquid also decreases .
