What is the effect of rise in temperature on the solubility of: (A) Ammonium chloride (B) Calcium sulphate.

(a) Ammonium chloride--The solubility of ammonium chloride decreases with an increase in temperature.

(b) Calcium sulphate--The solubility of calcium sulfate decreases thus when temperature increases(If the temperature of the system is raised, the reaction heat cannot dissipate and the equilibrium will regress towards the left according to Le Chatelier principle. This contra-intuitive solubility behavior is called retrograde solubility)
