the effect of sprinking th water is :-
the water reflectes the sun light or bulb light.
if it is sprinked on roof we will get sound of it's varation.

During summers water is sprinkled on the roof or open ground to decrease the temperature and make it cool ( the ground and roof)

Reason- water is sprinkled and it gets evaporated and we know that when water evaporates it uses the heat nearby and cool the substance or place around it by taking off the heat from heat so it helps in decreasing the temperature .
