There are 3 States of matter, namely—solids, liquids and gases. By changing the rate of temperature, we can change the state of matter. For example, on decreasing temperature, gases can be changed into liquid or solid; liquid to solid. Whereas, on increasing temperature, solids can be converted into liquid or gas; liquid to gas.
