Resistance of pure metals increases with increase in temperature while resistance of carbon,semi conductors and electrolytes decreases with increase in their temperature.

The number of electron available in metal remain constant at all normal temperature.in semiconductor more electrons get available to carry currents as temperature increase so their resistance decrease with temperature increase'....!
