The solubility of a substance is defined as the amount of solute that dissolves in the solvent per unit volume.

On increasing the temperature, the kinetic energy of particles increases thus the pressure also increases.

This leads to an increase in solubility as the number of solute particles per unit volume increase.

Answer:

Solubility of gas in liquid decrease with the increase in temperature.

Because dissolution of gas in liquid is highly exothermic process.

And solubility of gas in liquid increases with the decrease in temperature.

Solubility of gas in liquid increases with the increases with the increase in pressure, because solubility of gas in liquid is directly propotional to pressure
