Explanation:

Research shows that air pollution may affect ecosystems. Air pollutants such as sulfur may lead to excess amounts of acid in lakes and streams, and can damage trees and forest soils. Nitrogen in the atmosphere can harm fish and other aquatic life when deposited on surface waters. The burning of fossil fuels and the growth of animal agriculture has led to large amounts of greenhouse gases (such as carbon dioxide and methane) in the atmosphere. Higher concentrations of greenhouse gases trap more heat in the biosphere and result in global warming. In turn, this drives climate change.
