When water vapor is passed over tin metal, tinoxide is formed.

● Explaination -
Tin doesn't react with cold water.

When hot water vapour is passed over tin, tinoxide is formed.

Sn + 2H2O → SnO2 + 2H2

Hydrogen gas is liberated as byproduct in this reaction.
