What is the effects of land revenue systems.

British mainly adopted 3 types of land revenue systems:-

1. Permanent settlement:- it included bengal , bihar , banaras and NWFP divisons.
EFFECT- company suffered finical loss.

2.Ryotwari System:- it covered assam ,bombay and madras presidences.
EFFECT- position of cultivator became more secure.

3.Malwari systems:- it included areas central provinces and some parts of punjab.
EFFECT- it brought some improvement in irrigiation facilities.
