What is the effects of temperature on the solubility of caso4?

The reason is that caso4 is a weak base and strong acid. thus it undergoes hydrolysis on dissociation. now the process is being exothermic..

CHEMICAL EQN:

2caso4 + 2H20 ------> 2so2 + ca+2 + 4oH- +o2

Now, according to le chatlier principle when u increase the temperature....it's equilibrium shifts towards left side i.e. reactant will have greater Concentration than product....

hence solubility of caso4 decreases on increasing temperature....
