what is the electron shell for manganese? In Google it showed as 2,8,13,2, but the third shell can accommodate upto 18 electrons. but why there is, 13?​

Hi:)

take an example of potassium which is 19 element.

its config is 2,8,8,1.

now this happens because max no. of shells in the valence shell should be 8, never more, irrespective of the max no. of electrons it can accomodate.
