\bold{solution}

general formula to find electrons in each shell is

2n^2

n is the shell number

k-1

l-2

m-3

n-4

the 4th shell is n

in n shell no.of.electrons can be known by 2n^2 formula

shell number is 4

2×4^2

=2×16

=32

therefore we can say that 32 electrons can be accommodated in n shell or 4th shell

similarly,

1st shell (k)->2 electrons

2nd shell(l)->8 electrons

3rd shell(m)->18 electrons

electrons are the negative charged particles that revolve around the denser mass called nucleus , which has positive charge.nucleus is madeup of proton and neutron.

while revolving around this nucleus,electrons dont radiate energy and they dont fall into nucleus part.

hence we are able to sort electron,proton,neutron seperately without making them as a single neutral particle..
