Hey mate !!

Thanks for the question !!

Here's the answer !!

Well Elements are known as pure substances which cannot be further divided into smaller particles. But if they are divided further we can get some more smaller particles called atoms.

These atoms on further division leads to the particulate matter called sub - atomic particles. They are known as Protons, Neutrons and electrons.
Protons are particles having a slight Positive charge. They are inside the nucleus of an atom.

Neutron is a neutral particle with no charge. It contributes to the mass of an atom. It is also present in the nucleus.

Electrons are particles having a slightly negative charge. It revolves around the nucleus, thus used in chemical reactions.

When these sub - atomic particles are further divided, we get the smallest of the smallest particles called quarks. These are the smallest particles of an atom which join together to form sub - atomic particles and that of an atom also at the final end.

The smallest part of an element is called as the quarks. They are measured using the unit of Fermi ( 10^-15 ).

This is the microscopic view of an Element.

Hope my answer helps !!

Cheers !!
