Eligibility for state services examination:

1. Candidates must compulsorily be the citizen of India  
2. Candidate must be domiciled in the respective state organising state PSC. Like in Assam PSC, the candidate must be domiciled in Assam.
3. Candidates must have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university.
4. Age limits have to be fulfilled, now every state PSC has got different upper and lower age limit.
5. A number of attempts is also an important eligibility criterion for the state services examination.
