The current situation around the world is petrifying. We can say more or less people are panic-striken to be precise. We are all unsure what could happen next. It's almost like we are hanging from a cliff with a heart full of suspense and terrorised thinking whether there will be someone to save us or we have no option, but to die. The situation is worsening everyday, but all we can do is keep our hope alive just like when we are amidst a war or in a battle field. For now all we can do is wait for the better results and have faith that better days will definitely come.

We can also use the words - Scary, horrifying, alarming, appalling, daunting, hair-raising, frustrating to describe the present situation.

Answer: There can be numerous emotions like:

- Anxiety, when we hear in news that thousands of people have died

- Cautious, when going out (wearing mask, etc.)

- Worried, when a loved one is out and has danger of infection.
